Why is Blaze Portfolio being decommissioned?
As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline operations and enhance service offerings, LPL Financial has determined it is in the best interest of its clients and business to decommission Blaze Portfolio.
When will I no longer have access to Blaze Portfolio?
Blaze Portfolio will sunset on December 31, 2025, after which customers will no longer have access to the Blaze Portfolio platform.
Can I receive a copy of my data before Blaze Portfolio is shut down?
Yes, customers have several options to access their data: they can download data directly from the platform, request data extracts from the support team or request a download of the complete database.
Data extract requests can be directed to support@blazeportfolio.com to receive the following output:
- Inception to Date Order History
- Model & Sleeve output
- Trading Restriction list
What are my options to either continue or discontinue my access to Blaze Portfolio?
You have two options:
1. Terminate your contract at the end or prior to the end of the current term by filling out [THIS FORM]. All early termination fees will be waived. Your current term end date can be found on your contract, or reach out to sales@blazeportfolio.com to confirm the renewal date we have on file.
2. At the end of your current term, move to a month-to-month contract until December 31, 2025 by filling out [THIS FORM] and returning to sales@blazeportfolio.com.Please ensure you include a preferred billing contact along with your form.
Note: If you do not terminate your contract prior to its existing renewal period or elect to move to month-to-month contract, your contract will expire on the anniversary of the date of the original agreement.
Will there be any impact on client billing or subscription?
If you choose to extend your agreement to a month to month, please email the month-to-month templated contract to sales@blazeportfolio.com and include your desired billing contact to facilitate subscription payments via our 3rd party payment portal AdvicePay.
Are there alternative platforms recommended?
After thorough evaluation and vetting, LPL is recommending intelliflo redblack as an adequate alternative trading platform. LPL believes it will provide the level of service and functionality that you are accustomed to. If you are interested in learning more about redblack or have any questions, please reach out to sales@blazeportfolio.com to assist with the introduction.
Will there be any support available during the transition period?
Yes, support will continue with standard support hours and SLAs.
What are the next steps I need to take to prepare for the decommissioning?
- Please review your Blaze Portfolio contract to familiarize yourself with your renewal date or contact sales@blazeportfolio.com to confirm the renewal date we have on file.
- Decide whether you would like to move to a month-to-month renewal process, terminate your contract on or prior to the end of your renewal period, or let your existing contract expire.
